Overview

The Inverkip Hotel is a widely renowned, centuries old hotel, restaurant & pub, set in the heart of Inverkip village, Inverclyde, on the shores of the stunning Scottish West Coast. Whether you’re dining in our award-winning Scottish restaurant, enjoying a drink by the fire in the cozy pub, or staying in one of our beautiful rooms, you’ll experience the welcoming hospitality of this historical Inverkip community.

Our accommodation spaces are individually designed and whether you're looking for an adventure break, romantic getaway, business trip or base for visiting family and friends we have the space for you. Our location is steeped in history, tales and stories and the Main Street still holds the charm of a Scottish Village.

Our bars are brimming. We collect whisky, we love great wine and beers and our cocktails are house made, shaken and best shared with friends. Local, butchers, fishmongers, bakers and seasonal ingredients fill our humble Scottish menus.

We are engaging, imaginative and up for hosting many different events - we love a good gathering! We can give you inspiration, planning guidance and help you create the perfect celebration.

We are family run, friendly and always aim to be the leading place on the Clyde Coast to eat, drink, celebrate and stay. We love cooking food, sharing drinks and creating welcoming spaces that bring people together.

Whether you are a first-time guest, regular visitor and friend, or a new local face to the village, you will always be warmly welcomed.

Comforts of fairly quiet and immaculate room with every amenity available were fabulous. Location: the hotel was short walk to Close to ferries as well as an establishment for a long time.

Recommend it for families looking for a cozy stay

When I arrived very late and exhausted, the staff were really good getting me a lovely warm soup and a whiskey that helped me unwind. The next morning, the breakfast was a feast, plentiful and exactly what I needed to kickstart my day.

It wasn't cheap, but acceptable for the experience.

It was just a prime choice for a short visit in Inverkip with good price value. The food was delicious, especially the chips that were fantastic. Be prepared for noise from the bar if you stay here.

We explored the fine Clyde Coast, spent time hiking and visiting nearby beautiful spots. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. The food was great too! Definitely recommend dining in. Perfect place for groups looking to relax and enjoy nature.

One downside was the spiral staircase, challenging with our big suitcases. It could be a hassle if you're bringing a lot of luggage.

This hotel was like an oasis after our long flight from canada. The staff were super friendly and the vibes were just right to unwind. The food in the restaurant was really tasty, and the breakfast was served just how i liked it. The decor was cozy and old-fashioned, which adds to the charm. the only downsides were the stairs, which might be hard for some, and the bed was a bit creaky.

    delicious breakfast
    cozy room
    friendly staff
    loud noise
    stair access

I recently spent two nights at the Inverkip Hotel, in a Double Room with Private Bathroom. The decor felt inviting with its charming, old-fashioned style. The room was tidy and cozy, easy to unwind. I appreciated the excellent breakfast options each morning. It was delicious, filling, and set a positive tone for the day. The staff really stood out. They were attentive and keen to help. For example, Danny went out of his way to assist with a small issue regarding our reservation. The only downside was the noise from the pub on the ground level. It could get a bit loud in the evenings. Access from the parking area could be clearer. I had to navigate a few stairs, which might not be suitable for everyone. Despite these minor inconveniences, I enjoyed my time there and would come back.
